Hi guys
Just to let you all know that no I haven't been fired as I saw rumours mentioning. I have just been busy spread across multiple projects here at DICE including BF2 and 2142 and other DICE titles. I do keep up to date mainly through Vector emailing me (thanks for that btw ) with what is going on.

![]() Damn I hope it is. If thats the case you know what to fix, dont you? Revert the jump-prone delay for SF back to 0.3 etc... maybe even more fixes for the hit detection too? ![]() Quote:

But I highly doubt dice are even looking at BF2 again at the moment, Can only hope they learn from the mistakes they made in BF2 and implement them into BFBC2 |

.On another note, when BFBC2 is released, there will be no other BF game for DICE to shout about! Apart from BF3 that is...

Hopefully Dice is paying attention to the way Infinity ward is treating potential customers. The number of customers for future PC versions of dice games probably doubled in the last few weeks. Please baza, make sure that: - ranking and ranked servers do not become such a high priority that they cripple the game. What I mean is that the bf2 ranked map's design tried so hard to preserve balance in every aspect that they ended up kind of generic and bland. The bf2 engine is capable of a lot more interesting and creative gameplay than was presented in the retail product. take a good look at the bf2 mods to see what bf2 could have been. Yes, ranking is important to a segment of the bf2 population, but don't make everything in BF3 retail exclusive to ranked play. -- options! provide enough options in the game to make it interesting and varied and you'll have people playing dice games exclusively until the next dice game is released. Again, ranking makes providing a lot of options a lot more difficult. But options will keep people playing and allow for more enjoyable experience than those who persist in playing to satisfy some obsessive numerical scoring desire. |
