Why didn't they just use the Battlerecorder?

The final was live streamed, rushtv joins the game and uses in game free cam to show the match.

Hawk thanxs!
That was a good match.

good games. was rooting for Sweden, but had to accept how crazy good the Russians were. apparently there's no shame in using every glitch known in BF2 for these competitions.

the endless cartillary on the Swedish team's chopper on Dragon Valley must've been really frustrating, Russian commander did it at least 2 or 3 times...really well timing. Could've more or less have been the culprit to their loss. But they did get their butts handed to them on Karkand map.

There's 'gamesmanship' and there's blatant glitching.

Russians displayed both the former and latter.

If this is the best that esports can offer we may as well go back to playing cards and running around a field.

lalalala poor imho

Where did you see glitching, I've watched it but I can't find players that are glitching?
The only glitches I see is the free cam who goes trough buildings.

We were just referring to the cartillary and supply box drop by the Russian commander which took down the Swedes cobra at least twice, if not more...

The bunny hopping (from both sides) was a bit too much too. Looking at these games from a third person view, I'm starting to realize how ridiculous the gameplay can become. But I'll admit I will spam the spacebar time to time when trying to get out of a bad situation...

Oh, ok, we didn't see if the swedish commander was also doing this, in the match it is important to destroy the chopper from the enemy to get air superiority.
One or 2 hops is allowed, i do that my self, its necessary sometimes to hop when your are surrounded by shooting enemy.

And that's why I'm now heavily into a game with no jump button lol!

LOL, that's the right way to do so, instead of complaining chose a game that has no jump in it

OOh get you - not complaining just expressing an opinion.

btw our BF2 servers ran for 3 years with a no bunnyhopping rule and our 32 player air maps server was only overtaken in the UK game-monitor rankings when we switched it off altogether - so there's clearly a market for not jumping up and down like a newbie.

I imagine that's why DICE put in jump deviation, the inability to fire while jumping etc...

OFFTOPIC

Whats your problem if someone is using the jumpbutton? Can you not aim or something? If someone is standing right in front of me and he starts to jump, im quit happy because he cant shoot anymore. That means an advantage for me. If you see it like a disadvantage you are just got fail aim. That means you are the weaker player and you are suposed to die after he reloaded or did what ever.
Fair system!
Not more and not less.

Thx for watching. I hope you enjoyed it.
The Inf final will come soon. I will tell you exactly when it is.

The next BF2 events we will stream are the ESL Prmierleague Inf and CQ.
I will tell you the day/time as well if you want to.

Hawk85,

I assure you cannot effectively aim and take down a bunny hopper yourself. If the players in the video have problems doing it, I'm convinced it would pose a bigger challenge for YOU. This is largely due to BF2's notorious bad hit reg and hit box.

It is only natural for somebody to try and shoot an enemy down even if he's skipping his way around the corner. It's natural because it WORKS in other games. But DICE thought it would be a nice to model the soldiers after ninjas that can defy gravity

There's a reason why an attempt was made in addressing bunny hopping/dolphin diving. So your entire argument is moot.

But please prove me wrong, let's see you play a full round and see how accurate your aim is.

Why oh why do these arguments always descend to the level of 'you fail, you FAIL!'

Guess we'll just have to agree to differ.

You're wrong though...

No im not. First off all bunnyhopping doesnt exsist anymore. It was a word used in Version 1.2 for a prone/cruch/jump move where you could lalalala up your hitbox. What people are doing today is called JUMPING and its a normal ability of the game. Everyone can use it, eaven you. Its like you are playing Icehockey but dont check the other team because it would be to hard for them to keep the puck. That would be stupid as well right?
So try to use your abilitys that are in the game as good as you can.Than you will sucseed. And yes you are right Bf2 is special in his movements. Thats why I like the game.
So if you dont use it than its your fault. But stop blaiming people who use it.
And if you cant hit him than its 90% of the times failaim and 10% no reg.
Aim and MOVEMENT ftw!

Simple if you hate people jumping go play arma 2 or project reality, otherwise just deal with that the game mechanics give the players.

When I heard someone say glitching I thought they were talking about actual glitching not exploiting game mechanics. Cartilery, bunny hopping, C4 ramming, and spawn raping are not glitching or padding. An example of glitching is someone being inside a wall where nobody can shoot them but being able to shoot out such as the rock on Road to Jalalabad.

For clarification, yes I did mean exploit rather than glitch.

Do you realize how poor your argument is? You can call it whatever you want. You can call it JUMP, and I'll call it bunnyhopping. Point is that it doesn't take away the fact that players are exploiting the game mechanics. I assure you the developers did not intend for vehicle drops as cartillary.

I'm not complaining about bunnyhopping. I do it too. But your entire argument based on failed aim has no merit. But since you're so confident in your statement, I'll be awaiting a video of you playing bf2 shooting bunnyhoppers from left to right. I'm expecting nothing less than that.

When can I expect a link to the video?
