What i experienced:
(And yes, i did a fresh install...) This is nothing that crashes the game, but all this was working fine before the updates, and should work in final. Please, fix this. Last edited by FINkilla; 21-07-2009 at 11:43 AM.. |

The prone deviation is a great add, but the delay when you hit the ground and when your crosshair settles down is too large... Like JGrasli said Its currently 2 - 2.3 sec. So Something like 1 - 1.5 sec. would be better imo. And what i saw, when you jump your crosshair settles down much faster than when you prone, and i have seen that some players are already using this advance... And yes, if you slightly reduce the delay, it would propably please the both ends of this 'prone deviation argument'... |

Dear Bazajaytee,
Recently over a month or two ago there was a thread created with regards to opening up the Booster Packs and making them Free for all Bf2 Customers, this has now branched out to 13 Pages of Posts. I do realize this action does not have anything to do with Patch 1.5, but really it does, because patch 1.5 is for AF and EF, as a Leader of Dice I now ask for your comments on what can we do to address this correctly with DICE and also EA in order to get a response from them? We have supported your game and kept you in a job for so long, is their a serious chance of change and that you Bazajaytee can please comment on what we can do, you are OUR eyes and ears so you must be able to point US in the right direction as a DICE community OFFICER. I do believe this has not alot to do with Patch 1.5 in roll out phase but nothing to do with the upgrade of 1.5 to the game but releasing the two together, could you imagine the enlightened players? Please give us some direction as a Community Leader and assist us with atleast a Yes or No to the Question, Can we please make the Booster Packs Free With Patch 1.5. EF has died in my country Australia AF is barely surviving and has died in my country Australia. Finally would the major reason behind not going after this idea, be a fact that Battlefield 3 is coming out down the track? But would it not be wise to keep BF2 customers pushing along to the fine tune of belief in the game and how supposedly "GREAT" it is? All I ask is simple, point us in the right direction towards a answer on who do we ask as a community, to make the Booster Packs FREE and shut down the 13+ Pages of asking and suggesting. God Bless Kevin Rudd. Last edited by MrKevinRudd; 21-07-2009 at 03:56 PM.. |

Yesssss.
![]() The game is 4 years Old, and this would help to keep players far from other game (no BF 1943 ) I guess there is quite nobody currently buying those boster pack. For dev team it's a pitty as very very few people play those Maps. What is EA or Dice position about this point ? |

I think this was mentioned elsewhere - did you do a fresh install of bf2 before applying the beta 3 patch ? If not - try uninstalling bf2, restarting the PC, then reinstalling bf2 + then patching to 1.41, then applying beta 3. |

Im sure the boosters can be unlocked from EA's end without a patch. Anyone can download and install them. They key however is linked to a BF nick threw a website instead of being used during the install. This means that if you did not pay for them and you install them, I could log in and play them but you could not until you did.
