No and it shouldn't either until the issues in your sig has been fixed (bf2.exe memory issue, MEC TVG view/crosshair color etc). I assume the crosshair thing will be quite easy to fix as its been done for the other choppers TVG view/crosshair already. Fixing the bf2.exe issue (as it seems like it isn't fixed yet) will be quite easy too as its described in the video in the thread about it..

Btw, if it isn't already fixed for Final, the commander issue with not being able to drop Vehicle Drop as USMC should be fixed. It works as China etc but not as USMC (not sure about EU). Maybe its already fixed or something (as we can see in the Tracking list), but I dont know if it counts for this specific issue..

And the alt-tab bug as well as the player names bug (not being linear) should, if possible, be fixed as well

I just tested it. Vehicle drop works for China and MEC, but not USMC or EU. (Did not test Special Forces).

Probably the recession, can't keep dropping vehicles from the sky you know.

Regarding the Vehicle drops:

We had this problem with one of our servers - FSFA #1 Wake.

It seems that somewhere along the line one of the config/setting files became corrupted and it stopped the vehicle drop working for the US commander. It did not affect the chinese commanders vehicle drop

Having made a new copy of anyoter server and reconfiguring it, the problem was solved.

It could well be that this issue is not an actuall software bug as such, but an issue with the update process of installing 1.5 onto the servers.

So if you know which severs are having this problem, get onto their forums and get the administrators to have a look at it. Maybe it needs a re-install.

Vehicle drop doesn't work for EU or USMC in Single Player either.

Exactly. I have been testing in a local server and Vehicle Drop doesn't work for USMC (and EU as you say).

Baza; is this fixed? I can see in the Tracking list that issues with commander assets have been fixed, but I dont know if this specific issue is included in that..

Was this bug caused by an attempt to remove commander exploit? Just asking.

I would think so.. All i know is this patch is never coming out.. Its a complete joke for sure. This patch should have only fixed the commander exploit, chat flood back to desktop, any other server crashing lalalala and better account security and thats it. If they would have just left it at that it could have been done along time ago. I have spent alot of money running ranked bf2 servers and im sick and tired of my servers getting crashed all the time.

The patch is comming next week, don't blaim them for doing their job.

Blaim the guys who gave them the job to patch BF2 once again, they just gave them to little resources and personal.

oh please... why are they fixing or changing all this other lalalala thats not important than the stuff i listed above? This patch would have been done along time ago if they would have stuck to the important stuff. They should have patched the important stuff then made another patch for the rest of this lalalala.

I BET you dont spend any money hosting servers do ya.

Waiting for the programmers to get back from vacation. I thought one would be due back at the start of this week but he wasn't. For those of you that don't know, Sweden has an odd practise of people taking vacation during the month of July for something called "Industrisemester" (not just DICE but all of Sweden). Think of everyone going on holiday at once and thats what it is

There are some things the tidy up before final like the inability to play Special Forces.
The release is more likely a matter of weeks away (2-3 weeks at a rough guess).

It would have taken just as long regardless of what we were adding because BF2 was assigned resources at set times. While we had resource we put in as much as we could in the time we had.
Since the biggest delay in the update has been the connection issues we had in Beta 1 and 2 is a direct result of changes to fix the important things you mention we would have still been where we are now but with less extras.

Baza please do some internal testing on SF at least. The last time you didn't test SF you ended up making servers crash whenever anyone used the TOW on the hummer.

Baza:
Any reply on the commander bug where the USMC/EU commander cant drop a Vehicle Drop (it works with other factions)? I can see in the Tracking list that issues with commander assets not working have been fixed, but I dont know if it counts for this specific issue. If you want to read more about it, check the "Battlefield 2 Update 1.50 Beta 3"-thread.

And can you take an extra look and make sure that this is fixed? Sorry for asking so much about this, its just that you said you would fix it for b2/b3 but in the end you forgot it..

And it would be nice to see the player names issue (not being linear) fixed too but it probably wont happen as you've said before. It could work by adding a space in front of clan-tags maybe. But enough about that, keep up the good work!

I don't understand... Last week you said that it was going to get released this week. But now problems with playing Special Forces appeared from nowhere?

Can you reply on whether you will disable mouse acceleration, and decrease army hardware spawn time on Wake Island? Personally I don't think that you will do anything about the grenades... But I don't see any big difference between clayspam and nadespam. You implemented a fix for clayspam, but you didn't do it for nadespam?

It's almost the same with Prone Deviation, 50% likes it and 50% dislikes it. It was an exploit, just like grenades are right now when they are spammed all over the place.

My guess is they will never fix all the problems its getting old and harder to fix
you fix 10 things and you get 15 more its a game thats what happens
a shame but thats about it.

I'm going of Left 4 dead and call of duty for a few weeks they dont seem to have many problems

If its going to take that long can you at least look into removing mouse acceleration , quite a lot of people have requested this to be removed.

Well, it's not that that they don't fix all exploits that disturbs me. It's that grenades ruin the game so god damn much even how you do, even what path you take, even what server you play on, there will always be people who just spam nades...

But I guess I'll have to keep living with it.
