Will the flickering texture's be fixed on weapons, here is a link to show you what i mean.

YouTube - Help bf2 video flicker!

Also will the maps be fixed on maps such as Sharqi Peninsula where near the Chinese air field the map comes to a end drops 20 feet and there is just water and a bit after that there is a invisible wall that will kill you on impact. Thanks for any and all help in advance.

We haven't changed anything with the renderer or existing maps.

The flicker also called (Z-fighting) happens the more you get off the middle of the map. Don't ask me why but its just that way. The problem gets obviously more noticeable on the larger maps. And should just be fixed as its its just not right. You should definitely look into this for the final 1.5x patch.

It could have something to do with the render settings BF2 uses, maybe a programmer accidentally messed it up because of all the patches, and stress.

However it also could have something to do with videocards/drivers but i highly doubt that.

One other thing, This is actually quite simple to change, codewise at least.
The "Very High" setting. Yes, yes i know it was hardcoded out. But peoples hardware are updated now. They could easily run it with the very high settings.

And well for people that still cant run the game on highest well just keep it on the lower setting. I don't see the problem, minimum spec stays the same so does recommended spec.

Well thats it for the final 1.5x patch. I hope i get a response Bazajaytee

DICE has never ever released a patch before 5pm GMT so you all can at least go to the bathroom now!

You know you play too much BF2 when:

5-You say "Requesting new orders" when you're done with a task at your job.
6-When you desperatly look for Q to spott an aircraft flying by.
7-When you blaim the hitbox when you miss a guy with your snowball.

I hope the one unannounced feature will be support for mods into the global ranking
That would be awesome!

If not for the beta, how about for the final? Of course it would probably need to be regulated- only certain mods allowed, etc.
