Sounds very promising. Can't wait!

Bazajaytee - please reveal some info on if the update will include some bugfixes.
Start BF2 and join a server a few times - you can see the bug with the server info (name/ip/graphic) on the loading screen and on the "server info tab" on the scoreboard list. Getting that tiny little bug looked at/fixed cant be too much to ask for. Its the most noticeable bug in the whole game, a bug that everyone can see everytime they play the game. This bugfix is all I'm asking for right now, nothing else. Baza - ...

Wow, is it coming?!
What about: 1) Servers put to reset without stopping (it's some kind of hack, don't know exactly what) 2) Parachute hack, "speed hack" for land vehicles 3) J-10 x F-35, balanced. What about the F18? Is it becoming the new J-10? 4) Black Hawk: please make the machine guns stronger, not as strong as they were at 1.0. Using/hunting BHs was fun. |

It won't be there for the Beta but its not ruled out for being added in time for final release.

That whole thing with mouse acceleration and usb headsets is windows-related and has nothing todo with BF2. Problem is, BF2 chooses the default sound devices for in- and output, means you would have to set the USB headset's mic as the default input device in your windows options.
I highly appreciate the time you take to give us so many answers, wonder if I ever get an answer to my post above

Baza,
Can you please reply to my question about team mates TKing for Planes and Choppers? I like the idea that your team mates cannot FTK. But that doesn't stop them from TKing you when you're in the chopper or plane with their SRAW/M95/C4. I think the vehicle should have FF turned off for that. M95 and C4 are deliberate TK's, you just can't say you accidentally did that...SRAW on a chopper or F35 on take off by team mates is also very very deliberate, so I think it's perfectly fine to turn off FF on that... Does anybody agree or am I the only one concerned about this? |

Another thing I need to bring up is the collision detection between planes and "parachuters". This is the most ridiculous bug I've seen. Basically if a plane collides with a soldier having their parachute deployed, the plane blows up and the lone soldier earns the kill for it!!!!! I don't understand the logic behind that. The plane should be able to fly into the "parachuter" and kill him without even getting damaged. This needs to be addressed. Please tell me 1.5 has a fix for it |

is something being changed to the award requirements? like reduce the 400 tank hours to something like 150, or 175 for gold? and 100 tank hour to 50 or 75 for silver?
Reducing the 25.000 commander points for the war ribbon to something like more in this world to like 12.500? For the rest I have no complains... just those 2 that are IMO over exaggerated. And on game play, i would like to see maybe a reduction on the requirements for heal points and repair points... they are just too hard to get, specially repair points... i had to be repairing the AA of a carrier for a whole 30 min round to get 20 repair points... its just way to difficult.
