There is a definite patch for 2142...........no news on bf2

Hey.. Please, can an moderator/ea person send this to the DICE Live Team? This is some suggestions (if) a new patch for BF2 will be made:

* Fix server name/ip and server graphic not always showing up on the loading screen (while loading a map), and also fix it on the "Server info" tab ingame on the scoreboard (up to the left corner).. This should be a ok thing to fix, right? PLEASE, fix it

* You know the J-10 vs F-35b? The problem here is that the F-35b has too big hitboxes compared to the J-10 (therefore it is easier to hit the F-35b than the J-10).. So, edit the F-35b to have the same hitboxes as the J-10.. Then it isnt that easy to kill the F-35b anymore... It becomes more dogfight, more flying in the air, more fun.. PLEASE, fix it

* There is a bug that when you pick up a kit, the game sometimes crashes to desktop (CTD).. I have gotten this bug a lot.. So, sometimes when I pick up a kit, the game just crashes (CTD).. PLEASE, fix it

* Fix squad-bug.. Sometimes we cant create squads, or only 1-3 squads can be made. To fix this, the server have to be restarted. Please fix it :

* Fix the "Refresh" button in the favorites list.. When I press that "Refresh" button, the whole list becomes empty.. To get it back, I have to log out/restart the game..

* The G36E is a little bit to powerful (I think).. Maybe you can change/edit it a little bit?

* And the last thing, include the new "Highway Tampa"-map in the patch.. That should be done

Good work? Huh?

Where were you when 1.30 hit? And that F35 issue has been an issue since 1.20. Hell, just about everything in that list has been around for a very, very long time now. You're off your rocker if you think EA/Dice have done anything that even remotely resembles "good work" and worse that they should, god forbid, "Keep it up."

Ok... I know that the server info thing has been a bug since 1.30.. In 1.22 it worked perfectly.. The squadbug that I am talking about has been since 1.30 too, and the crash when picking up a kit has been here since 1.40...
So, yeah, I miss 1.22, but 1.41 is great too... But I hope that a new one comes that fixes server info, pickup-kit CTD, and squadbug... Thats it..
I have read somewhere that EA is going to implement support for something called "Falcon-controller" in BF2 and BF2142.. Then, I hope a patch comes, and that it fixes some other things too (like the things I listed here)..

no, EA isn't going to implement falcon - they're just gonna show them how to get thier drivers to work with BF2, (and maybe get the EA logo on the box?). EA isn't going to do anything to BF2 now that they've lost the community & so many cheats ruling, it would look like admitting a mistake so nothing will happen. Dice were innovative with BF42 & blew it when they joined the EA banner, BFV was time of changeover. bet they wished , except for company owners, that they'd never got under the bedcovers with EA. R.I.P. BF2, I've gone back to playing BF42, DC etc & apart from graphics it plays better.

I agree... The mods on this server have no "Back-Bone" to close this thread... Yes, I do mean you "Mods" They're afraid ea will tell them off for breaking all hope that we have for a new patch, I mean the patch that isn't to be.

Just like Gordon Brown when trouble is on his door step he hides away and says nothing.

MODS stop messing us about and close this useless, pathetic and time wasting thread !
