NEED HELP ASAP! having connection problems

hey, i bought the game back in june/july, can't remeber, for the ps3. anyway i have never been able to connect to a game, i log into EA fine, then click quick match, and wait, i then get two messages both saying the same thing just with different titles, 1st i get "cannot join" "the game appears to be unavailable, please try again." then i get "connection problem" with the same message. This has happend every time i try to use the game. I am living in Ireland and am an eircom customer, my other friends on eircom have had the same problem, whereas my friends on B.T. find a game straight away no problems at all. Out of my 3 friends with eircom, only one can use the game. I have 3mb broadband speed, and a Netopia 2247NWG modem, also i use a wireless connection. Sorry bout all the bold, just some of the more important info.

Please if anyone can help me, give me all the info you can! i have played the game in other friends houses and frankly, it's the best thing since sliced bread!

There are sticky threads to help with this.

Anyway, its your connection. Either you have a strict NAT, some ports are not open/forwarded correctly, or your ISP is blocking services.

But seeing as your friends have the same problem with the same ISP, all signs point towards -

your ISP.

Tell them to stop blocking ports. They do it to prevent people from using P2P software on PC.

thanks, but are there any spesific ports i need to know, are there any that i should tell them to keep blocking?
