Exclamation PS3 Mic Issue and Sqaud borking

We are looking into these, but it isn't a simple fix minor code mistake here and ship. We regret the mic issue being present in BF1943 and are doing what we can to fix it, same with the squad splitting. This hasn't gone unnoticed, nor have other issues.

Do you have an estimate on how long it could take to fix?

If you want a priority, mics first please (I know fixing probably don't work like that).

Thankyou for saying "We know, working on it" at least.

Are there any plans to deliver mute buttons?
The mic issue isn't half as bad compared to a kid singing his favorite tunes. I'll take static noise over that any day.

I also love the game, but they should know how long it would take to identify and correct a problem.

If it can be fixed at all?

Rather than just saying "we're looking into it", how about telling us what, exactly, it is you are doing about it?

Such as, "we are working on the patch now." Not "we're waiting for Sony to put out a firmware". We want specifics and to see that you are ACTIVELY working on the problem, not passing the buck to someone else.

Then, you may see a decrease in the number of questions on when the mics and squads will be fixed. Maybe.

Good to know though a bit too late for me as I lost my passion for this game. Maybe more maps will fix my mojo

Lets not forget your Bad Company issues that came up after 1943s release either. Thanks for the update.

Will this thread take over the old one?

ok what about the problems with private rooms?
:-people failing to join on invites
:-when launching we all get kicked
:-when launching instead of being in a private room it puts us all in a public room
i also think the min player count should be lowered from 8vs8 to 5vs5 as this would be more clan game friendly.

I used to think it was Sony or EA's server problems but after playing many other EA games on PS3 with no mic problems, it can't be. When you have played other EA games since release day with zero mic issues something isn't right and should be top priority to fix it. Dice needs a VOIP specialist for future releases or to fire the one they have now. BFBC's patch didn't work that well, better but not as flawless as other EA games. You still have many games where it sounds like you're speaking gibberish to the other players.

Hopefully the mic fix will be better than BC. It already bears the similarity of digital remix of people drowning in a tunnel.

Oh and you do realize the black square is a bug when your cross hairs cross another player right? Even when running and there's no visible crosshair.

OLD

But what is with those wich have their ps3 in the livingroom?
I dont wanna play in my office... I know it was just some idea and
it really helps if u got the pc near by your console but its not an
argument for that big issue that comes with both games.

Isnt there Teamspeak 3 out together with americas army 3?
Thought so, by the way ventrillo has a better quality sound than
teamspeak.
