Default I keep getting lost connection within 5 mins...

Hi,

Heres my problem:-

1. I connect to EA online
2. I join an match
3. Within five minutes of playing I get kicked out of that match because I surposebly have lost connection (I did check my connection several times and it was at a 100%)
4. I connect to EA online on the main menu within seconds, I re-join a match and the same thing happens again and again.

What going on?

Other people are have similar or same problems.
It is difinitly not my end because all other none EA games work.

Actually it can be on your end since most people never have this issue you and few others have. What brand and model Router Gateway do you have?

Have you configured the ports? Like I posted in the Help Guide that is a sticky. Are you connected via wireless?

That is not a fair statement, there is a million things in-between you and the servers that can cause an issue unrelated to us. BF1943 takes way more bandwidth and resourses from the console to play. Check you network if you have a issue that isn't common for the masses.

this isn't a thread for fixing mic's this is a thread for actually trying to play the game.

Wireless connections are less secure so routers put more restrictions. You should make sure all ports I listed for your console are open for wireless use.

Default Same Issue

I have the same problem - connection keeps timing out and I'm using a wireless connection for my PS3. I had a look for the help guide you referred to earlier but I can't see it anywhere. can you post a link to it or tell me where to find it?
Cheers!!!!
