this is all going to end with us not getting any answers and us having no chat , so we should never BUY EA OR DICE AGAIN , lucky for you it cost you £10 $15 so its not really a loss , roll on modern warfare 2 at least it works

i agree unless this is fixed, they can forget about me buying bad company 2, i think we should sign a pertition not to buy bad company 2 that may persuade them to fix these dam problems.

What I am talking about is that I use a headset to play the game. the Mic I have is a blue-tooth ear piece. Using both at the same time is not comfortable.
I could just use regular speakers and the ear piece, but it is not what I prefer. The reason do not prefer it is because I do hate hearing other people's background sound constantly during the game. So I do not like to force that on others. I have the TV or other things on while I play, like music. So I use my headset which is connected to my Monitor.

I could use my Socom headset but it is just not the same, because it is not as good.

Hey Gordon, maybe you could stop posting twitter updates and give us an update on the PS3 Squad chat situation? Seriously, it's like you respond to other threads where you think you can fix the problem but have been mum on this situation. What is the deal? Is it always going to be like this? Can you guys fix it? Will you fix it? When will the fix be out?

Bumping this to make sure it is noticed. I hope this is not being overlooked like BFBC as that would be a pretty bad mistake to make. I like how they changed the message bar thing on PS3 to 'Capacity is up and most fixes are completed, but if you still have issues joining friends or connecting' then come here and talk about it. Does this mean nothing is going to be done about the mics and squads?
Sorry if i sound pushy but i have yet to have seen a response from anybody about the mic issues. I love this game so much and dont want to stop playing because of a stupid reason like this.
Also the squad splitting is annoying......

i connect fine and have no lag. im running a 3mb dl connection so idk if its ur connection or its luck for me. Only problem i have is the Mic problem, that should be fixed asap cuz it gets boring playing and not able to talk to your squad mates, i know there are squad options where you can order ppl to attack or defend a flag but still its better to communicate and have fun. Every shooter should have fully functional mics even if its a arcade game.

I didn't say anything about lag, the game itself plays fine for the most. Just the mics and squad thing.

I guess we have alteast about 30 threads with the same things in it : The PS3 mic issue.

But atleast we didnt get a real answer nor informations about.
I remember the same thing on BFBC and it didnt get fixed 100% after we should tell our netspeed, locations and so on. Even if we should open special things on our routers it wasnt fixed.

The reason why is easy, cause it has nothing to do with the ps3 , the connection itself while you can play 10 other games with not a single problem with voip.Its just that this game is multiplatform and that is maybe harder to run voip correctly with ps3.

Its the fault of 2 things, first the fault of the producer cause they didnt test voip well enough to be aware of those mistakes and second its sonys mistake cause theyre to lazy to give us an own system to talk while playing games. I dont know why you have to stay outside of a game to chat. Its boring... And i dont think they will release a chat system in the near future that you can talk whatever you play.

As i said in another thread before, its just an advice to dice :
Please let a whole bunch of people beta test BFBC2 also and special with team chat. Delay the game when it doesnt work well enough cause a problem that cant be solved in 3 games will make a much more darker light over to EA/DICE.

@Byrdman512 PS3 mics will be looked into. Give us some time to try and get data on it.

It is the only thing that is putting a downer on this game for me, I got no lag and was able to get into games no sweat but the lack of comms makes it boring for me half the fun of squadding with friends is having a good laugh whilst playing.

I BET IF THIS WAS AN XBOX PROBLEM IT WOULD BE FIXED. everybody got on me for flaming them about not caring about psn users...well look at this! and look at that coral sea ticker and youll see why xbox is waaay more important to them. Is this gonna be another BC and just forgotten about and we have to buy another game? which is why BC sold for like 15 bucks before it became a "greatest hit". lol. thats probly the only reason it got fixed for BC. you cant very well release a greatest hit that doesnt work right..
so now ive spent 75 dollars on next gen bf games only to have old-lalala BF MC for ps2 be the only one that truly works.
