1943 Veteran Medal

For Battlefield 1943 your rank and medal will be done automatically without you needing to add it via the veteran website.

This automation is not yet available, but it will be soon.

Only those who purchase the 1943 game will receive the medal. Trials will not receive the medal.

This is such a good way, but EA after 2 years still dont reckon my PSN ID so that idea goes out the widow for alot of us.

Good stuff at least someone appreciates its a pain in the chute having to constantly re enter the same details on different sites :gr8

All the medals are written at the account level, so they are all always applied to all of your personas. For 1943, the medals should appear for all of your soldiers that are linked to your EA account.

Just FYI, in the 1943 My Soldier page we show you your medals, but the Heroes medal is currently missing. We are fixing that.

Yes, we always wanted to automate the system, but with the older games it is hard to make that work. We will be automating it from 1943 on out.

My vet status is on, but its not taking into account the fact that i own 1943 lol. I should be level 5, but only level 4

Interesting.... In BC the veteran status is only applied to the first gamer tag linked to your account. At least it was that way for me and some other people. We had to get the EA Support to apply some it to our other accounts, and even then they could not apply all of it completely.

That is why my main soldier is a 6, where my second is a 3, and the last has no status.

It may just be a BC thing.

It will be nice if this game gives me full Vet status for all three of my soldiers.

SuperNewby, I have a Heroes metal, but my veteran rank didn't go up. Also, I just recently purchased 1942, and it says that the CD key as already been claimed. Is there anyway that I can still get my rank?

Similar problem here. '43 Soldier page says vet 4 but with '43 it should now be 6. My Battlefield Veteran page still says 5 but '43 isn't on there yet. What gives?

Take a look to this supernewby, these are the problems i found on the website

(i hate to have a US flag when im from Argentina grr) we should be available to choose our flag, not linked with our account, southamerica countries werent available since end 2008,
on xbox360 they arent even available yet

mine is different.

being that i have all of them other than the demo i think the BF hero's is causing all of them to be one off.

Yes, that has more to do with the writing of your rank to your other soldiers rather than your account not having the medals.

My veteran status is missing from this game. Like others, I don't have the 1943 medal, but also I don't have Bad Company, either the demo or the game itself.

Will this be updated, or is there something I need to do to get my status updated?

The 1943 medal will be written automatically (if you bought the full game) at a later date.

Your other medals should be showing up, provided that they also show up in the veteran's website. The older games are not written automatically.

You should clear your browser cache and then let me know if it's still happening.

I had the same issue until I contacted EA Support, they reset my PSN ID link and its working fine now. Log a call with them, they were helpful and it was fixed in a couple of hours...

Log it online.
