My soldier page shows most of the medals i had, although its been through many stages... they all seem to shift.. for example bf2142 northern strike was in the normal 2142 slot, they all shifted over, and showed that i had bad company gold instead of normal... ive played all games apart from modern combat, but it says my rank is 4 on there, even though it was 5 before 1943.

my problems are exactly the same as Chronozon, and i noticed the northern strike typo too

Welcome!!

Veteran medals are just a nice little gimmick to show other players that youve played other Battlefield series games , such as Bad Company etc.

Like somebody at dice is really going to go look for a solution to your 8 year old game cd key being taken get real.

For me i had a Veteran Status of 5 but then Heroes got me up to a Status of 6. So when 1943 gets added i guess i'll be a 7??

The only thing is even though the 1943 veteran medal isn't ready yet, with all older games i should have a Status of 6, where in BF:BC i'm still a 5 :S

And yeah i've tried pressing Y in the Stats Page of BF:BC maaaaaaany times now haha

I wonder how to get the medal for the BC Demo ?

I'm from germany in our PSN store isn't a BC Demo so I downloaded it from the UK and US Store but both demos tell me, when I try to open the MP, they can't connect.

Im slightly curious to how this is going to work, is there an ability to link your playstation3 account to your regular EA account? I've not come across this anywhere, maybe because I can't access the My Soldier link on the homepage. I was just wondering how it's going to know which character is mine, after adding my past CD keys to my EA account it occurred to me that it wasn't associated at all with my playstation account, apart from the Username / Email address, is this enough? Sorry if this is confusing, I'm struggling to articulate my thoughts for some reason, clearly too much revision #Edit; Should have read page 2, my bad

I'm pretty sure you can't anymore. The demo was pretty well just a Beta for the game. As soon as the actual BF:BC game came out, they shut down all MP on the Demo and now it's just an empty void pretty well, the demo doesn't have anything to do.

So basically you can't get the medal for the BF:BC Medal anymore.

maybe dice can answer my question here, or someone else?

When they enable BF veteran program in 1943, are we going to see our veteran rank (a number that says how many BF games we have played -1) under the V column on the in game leaderboard? and if so can we expect to see this in all the BF games to come? if so i need to install all my old BF games so it shows really how many BF games i have played

Hey guys, I'm still having a ton of issues adding my retail BF1942 + Expansions & my BF2 Expansions onto my Veterans page.

For the BF1942 stuff it says my keys have already been used. I just rebought everything over again last year and I've got no clue what's wrong. Can anyone provide some assistance, maybe someone from DICE? I'm stuck @ Veteran status of 4, I'm sure w/ the only thing missing from my page being BF2142 I'll be a 6.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You don't need to reinstall all your BF games...the way the Veteran Status works is that you enter your account info into the Battlefield Veteran site. The only reason you'd have to reinstall everything would be because you forgot all your account info for all your BF PC games.

hey, i can see my veteran badges on the battlefield veterans website.. but not the battlefield 1943 site when i click my solider.. it comes up:

A little off topic post, but i just today went to add my 2142 to my vet page, but when i did, it didnt register my NS booster pack. I have played on NS maps, I have the 2142 deluxe edition. Anyone have any ideas?

SuperNewby you seem to be the Battlefield veteran website guy could you please put a fix in place to get the Northern Strike veteran registration going or get someone to do it ? It would be greatly appreciated because lots of us have the same problem. There is also no way to register the booster pack apart from the main game so all you can do is wait to let it go automaticly but that clearly ain't happening. I have a costumer support ticket running on this issue aswell so i guess time will tell.

People actually still buy the older games to get ranks so i think it's a good deal that it gets fixed.

You need to register (activate) the key with EA Downloader from memory onto the veteran account (the email you used for the veteran website).

That's how I got it to appear.

I know it's free, but I notice a picture for BF Heroes but no +1 to my veteran count. Guess there's no veteran medal for Heroes.
