1943 Veteran Medal - Page 2

My soldier page is messed up as previously stated but here are some images to better illustrate what the problems are. Click the thumbnails for the full sized image.

This is my Battlefield Veteran page. Note, '43 is still missing.
edit: image removed for security reasons.

This is my Battlefield 1943 "Soldier" page. Note the errors here. Again BF'43 is missing. I have the Gold edition od BFBC so shouldn't the regular BFBC medal be filled too? Also the expansion for BF2142 is showing as BF2142 Special Forces. It should be BF2142 Nothern Strike.

Lastly my veteran rank is showing here on my soldier page as 4, whereas before the release of '43 it was 5 (see first pic) and should in fact now be 6.

Help!

The 1943 medal - It will remain missing until we have the automatic detection ready, both on the Veteran's website and on the 1943 website.

There is a message about that on this forum and on the login page of the Veteran website.

BFBC Gold edition Medal - We show either the Gold Edition medal or the regular one, depending on the version you have.

2142 Northern Strike - That's a typo, thanks for letting us know.

Vet Rank - Your vet rank is lower on the 1943 site because we don't have the Heroes medal. We'll be fixing that too, then your rank will be correct.

You can add your older BF games on the veteran.battlefield.com site.

You need to have linked your Xbox and/or PS3 accounts to your EA account. So go to www.ea.com, login, then click your email in the login and go to the "Add Persona" page.

After that you need to have played your BF games online in a ranked match.

For 1942 (the first BF title), the 1942 expansions and Vietnam you need to have your CD Keys.

For BF2 and BFMC PS2, you need to have your GameSpy account.

It's quite an in-depth process, which is why we've made our newer games to be automated. Unfortunately, the older games are on older systems and that makes it very difficult to automate them.

On a side note, I have BF Vietnam but it says key already taken. It was a brand new copy I got on release. What can I do about that?

You might be able to contact EA Customer Service. I'm not sure how they verify who actually owns a CD Key or if they can, but they would be the best bet.

I just tested my brother in law's key
and it went in fine

was expecting it to not work

so its not a problem with the website

he's gona be upset if he ever wants to do veteran.battlefield.com

I don't understand. When I play BFBC I have veteran Rank 4, but on my soldier page on 1943 it says I am Rank 2?

Well the BF1943 page is messed up right now. I'll try to explain.

In BC you have you rank coming from the Battlefield Veterans site.

On the website for BF1943 when you look at you stats, the veteran status number that it shows for you soldier is coming from that very same page. As you should know the page is messed up right now. It does read the medal information from the Veterans Site, but right now the page itself has problems. The medal for BF1943 is not turned on yet, it is missing the medal for BF Heroes, and you may not have some of the other medals listed.
Like for me I do not have the medal for MC showing up yet.

If you have BC it will only show the one that you have. If it is the Gold edition then you will have the Gold medal. If it is the regular then you will have the regular medal.

The only medals that should count toward your status are BF1942, BFV, BF2, BF2 MC, BF2142, BF BC, BF1943, and BF Heroes.
None of the expansion medals should count. You need the core game medal. Basically the it is based on the Big Medal on this site (Battlefield Veterans). All the little Medal behind them do not count toward the status number.
Now since this is BF1943 it does not count for this game when it comes to the status number. Your status will always be one less than the amount you have, because the game that it is for does not count.

they just replied that vet status was added for bf vietnam

shame they did the wrong account

they did my main ea profile instead of my profile tied to my xbox live account

have messaged them back to fix

Hi been playing BF games since BFMC for PS2. I'm a vet. on BFBC,BF2142, and this game soon as you guys work it out thanks for doing that.

But I still have a problem linking my BFMC name. I have tried to make a new name play a few rounds and try again nothing still. Is there a way I can give someone at EA/DICE my account and such to have this worked out?

Also I know its not the linking EA/persona to my ps3 account as I did that to get 2142 to work. Thanks again for the help and the great games.

**EDIT** I'll call EA and see if they can work it out first. If not i'll come back and see if someone knows another way.

Just want to know why my rank has been reset to nothing again all the achievements everything has gone, Yet another lalalala up by the brilliant EA team, this game has been nothing but a joke waiste of money, no servers at first, Why on earth was that?
Did EA want to see how much money they could rake in before the opened more than more server outside the US? Just another lalalalaing ripp off!!!!
