Any news regarding smg's random sound loss?

happned to be about 4-5 times

I had something quite bizarre happen to me earlier. I was just heading towards a destination on foot, when suddenly the pause menu magically brought itself up. I assume this is rare, since I haven't heard anything else about it.

What's the deal with the friends Leaderboard menu?

1) They're not in any kind of order

2) After the first page, the comparrison box at the bottom is incorrect and the friend highlighted on the list is not the friend i'm being compared against.

when it's looking for games you cant cancel it...........

i could have joined a friend on another server, by the time it said 'no available games please try again' i couldnt join my friend cos his game then said unavailable even though there was only 7x7 in his game

The client does not receive a timeout from the server. This behavior caused by the capacity problems we are experiencing.

I have had some graphical flickering and distortion in about 3 games, lasted maybe 20 seconds tops, but most the time no issues...minus server ones, but it will correct itself in time.

As I said in another thread, the compass directions are wrong. North is currently down, South is up, East is left and west is right!

I can't adjust to this, DICE, and keep getting lost. Please sort it out!

I get a lot of random tearing during games. It happens when I am in a plane and someone fly's near me and when I am in a jeep. It doesn't happen often. I would say it happens about every 3 matches

Here's some pictures I took of the final screen after the round, of me being in the top squad. As I said before, I haven't been able to finish a round on Iwo-Jim, but for now these will let you see I've been in the top squad many times. This show the Best Squad Stamp, for me, at the very least, is glitched since I know DICE can see how many of each Award I have.
I only have 1 and obviously should have many more.

We have checked the code and the achievement data for Top Squad and everything looks good. Top Squad is reported from the server to your gamertag individually for each level. When you have achieved Top Squad on all three levels, the server will trigger the achievment on your client.

But, there is a minor desync here. The UI is not communicating with the server when it is presenting the Top Squad to your client. The client calculates this for you, and it's sometimes mistaken. The server on the other hand is always right.

The current theory is:
- You will sometimes get the impression that you are in the top squad, even though you're not.
- The achievment will only unlock when you actually have been in the top squad on all levels.

Thank's for your feedback regarding this issue, we will continue to investigate it.

@djonsson: Just wanted to say, nice work on the community feedback side of things. I know it can't be easy chasing up a million different problems from a million different rabid gamers screaming bloody murder because they have to wait for a game or the sound effects are at the wrong pitch. Keep up the good work, hopefully the game will be running smoothly soon

There was a glitch on Guadalcanal today that I saw. A tank was leaving and all of a sudden a gray box appeared in its trails. I went up to look at it and on the front of it was an image of the goggles from first person view of the tank.

We hate that box... The JP tank sometimes spits it out when it's destroyed. It's a rare issue and no one else on the server will see it when it happens.

I've noticed that the top squad list has shown my squad despite there being no possibility of us having top squad (negative points and low points).

Also the black stuff that flickers over the screen randomly at certain angles.

i have experienced that sometimes when im at sandbags or just confined spaces and i sprint away im slightly getting dragged back and if i try to run off it goes in little slow motion and being dragged back a little again, but when i dont try to move and jump, it stops. i presume its connection/server thing issue.

My xbox had crashed 4 times while playing this game now, also its not just my xbox, several of my friends are also having freezing issues, also a bunch on complaints on xbox.com about this, also can't join a game as a squad.

Just confirming your theory about number 1.

Pretty sure it happens way after the beginning of the round seeing as how I don't usually use planes until about halfway through the match.

not sure if this is a problem or a choice of design but when zoomed in with the sniper the sensitivity drops BIG TIME. I know it will drop when zoomed but when tracking someone far away when zoomed the player is about the same or even faster than how fast you can track.

i turned up the sensitivity and it helped a little bit but not much.

is this a problem or the way it was made for balancing?

EDIT

ALSO when you toss TNT or whatever the sniper has, its pretty weak feels like it just drops on your feet. i know you dont want it to be a mini grenade but it sometimes is a pain when your RIGHT up against a tank and your try to trow it but it hits the ground (plus doing this with lag is present adds to the frustration)
