Hey GordonVanDyke:

Thank you really much for fixing the issues, i can play now almost everytime i click QuickPlay. But i have another problem, all my friends have had it but mine is much more common. Everytime i play, after 20-40 minutes, the game totally freezes. Xbox doesnt answer anything and all i can see is a picture in tv from the last frame. No sound or anything. So only rebooting the system gives me the ability to play again. My friends told me that they have had the same thing once or twice in BF1943. Some more. I made a research from google about the freezing and i see that it is more common issue that i thought. First i though my xbox is getting RROD again but i think its not happening. Can you address this issue too? Because its getting pretty annoying when im playing with friends and BLAM it froze like water at winter.

Behind a Router or firewall, that can block connection easily?

I can't promise you this 100%, but I'm pretty sure if you get the full game and create a proper persona that you see in your EA Account it will work. If I'm wrong I'll make sure it is fixed and get you any support needed.
Ok i bought the full game and you were right I got past the first obstacle, now I'm at the login screen and I think my EA-account is in order (EA support has been making changes to it a few times the last day). What I get now is this error:
Create account
Your gamer profile does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox live functionality.

In other words there's still something fishy with my profile but I think this might be related to my gamertag(?) As I mentioned earlier I talked to Xbl support about this but they couldn't se or do anything.

This may sound silly but how well ventilated is your Xbox 360 and if you touch it does it feel very hot?

Seems to be working much better with regards to getting into games and getting into them with friends too.
However I have just had to hard reset twice in 10 mins due to the game freezing up.

Okay, this is better, but I have to ask you to contact EA Customer Suport, they must have doen something to cause that and they need to undo it.

your missing the point!!! I want to complain, who do i complain to? I'm not saying i can't play, i am saying i am not satisfied, well done, fantastic stats, great for everyone. I have 16gb broadband and sit virtually on top of the local connection (forget what its called), my xbox 360 is portforwarded, and i have never, ever suffered lag like i am now. In britain, we as consumers have the right to complain to an official body... Who is this?

My xbox is in open area it can breathe pretty well, i had RROD last christmas and my xbox was fixed, microsoft told me that they have installed a extra fan to prevent the RROD, and i can hear it too. My xbox is loud as ***** even without DVD inside the player. So thats not a problem. The freezing happens only in battlefield 1943, other games doesnt freeze at all

Why are you one of the few, that is a better question. As for who to complain to, you're already doing it, what else do you want because I'm not sending anyone to give you a hug.

We are looking into this from the server side, it could possibly be it. Keep trying to plus if you don't mind. I'm going to fire mine up and see if I suffer these since I haven't yet at work on a normal Xbox 360.

And your friends freeze a lot less?

LOL Not managed to play a full game long enough without it freezing today.
But played last night with the same people for a few games and the squad did stay together.

BF1943 has it's on ports needed to play, wireless is the most problematic of all. BF1943 sends way more data up and down than those listed games. I suspect you need to open the ports.

I agree, we're getting somewhere, I think it's something wrong with the age data related to my gamertag or something (facebreaker says I'm not old enough...). And I'm 29 by the way.

I'll make another case with the EA support, so far no success but hey, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the help so far Gordon, I'll post the results later!

Hi,

my Xbox freezes too while playing BF 1943. The game worked fine for me since Wednesday apart from joining with a squad or joining a friends game, of course. But other than that, the game was working fine once I managed to get on a server.
What has been happening today is that my Xbox frooze 4 or 5 times while playing BF 1943. I haven`t had problems freezing issues with any other games I played on my box. After the first two freezes I played something else for over an hour, no freezing, no problems at all. Then back to BF 1943, takes about 10 to 15 minutes, FREEZE! People from my friendslist are saying basically the same, their box freezes when playing BF 1943, no problems when playing other games though.

And yes, my box is well ventilated. It doesn`t feel very hot neither.

my friends told me that they had it once or twice. Mine has been freezing now 6 times. It freezes most commonly when a major explosion happens, like the air raid. It doesnt happen in "scheduled" timeline, it can happen anytime, at any point. Yesterday i played like 3 hours without the freeze, when it froze, i played 15 minutes and it froze. Then i went out.

Hey Gordon, I'm new here as you can see.

My 360 is very well ventilated, and I've never had a problem before.

When playing 1943 it freezes literally every time after playing for a minute or two.

I understand your need to replicate the problem, but I'm looking round the internet and tonnes of people are complaining about this problem, so it's very real.
