Too bad it isn't true. We are still waiting on 1st party confirmations for a date and it is looking more and more like very early July to be honest with you guys. And before you lalalala and moan, this is out of our control and we wait just like everyone else.

You or EA or someone should put lots of pressure on 1st parties in this matter. You have strongly marketed June release and delay is going to confuse a lot of people.

well first off it was not sibben who just gave us the info...it was the awsomeness of gordon , and second early july is kinda what i predicted seeing how the E3 codes would not be valid untill july 1st..which happens to land on a wednesday, so hopefully this is the day we are all waiting for...thanks for the news gordon

Edit: and if it is july 1st...thats perfect for my long weekendfor the 4th of july...battlefield 1943 for three days straight

Um, EA bought DICE out in 2006 so EA is the parent company. Plus Developers actually make the games and Publishers market them(or are supposed to in this case).

Thanks for the honest answer as always! I realize that's not what most of us were wanting to hear, but Life's not fair and DICE have no control over the release of the game at this point. They did their job and got it finished in early June and now it is up to M$, Sony, and EA to determine when it will be released. I don't know what EA's fiscal year is, but July 1st is the start of a new financial quarter so it makes business sense to release it then or later. And EA is a business first and foremost.
