According to Ps3 community manager he says 2 weeks from the date it was recieved.

(it wouldnt harm alot of you ps3 guys to go and find this info out, considering thats what community managers do - find your answers)

Dice makes this mistake again... Well i suppose it wont be like heroes...advertising as SUMMER 2008 and its Summer 2009 and still no full game...

Tbh i wont be suprised if it will be also released for the console in september :S

Why do ppl get so negative when they change the release date? I mean, we know DICE are trying to do their best to release the game as soon as possible. Everyone just needs to be patient.

It's my understanding that it won't be out on Plalalalail September. Is this true? Also, I see that console players will have to pay for it, but again, from what I heard, PC gets it for free? Can this be confirmed?

You are right it wont be out on Pc till September time and it will cost about $15 as far as i know.

Agreed. Delays are real world stuff. Can't always predict 100% accurate launch dates because things are out of their control. Also, hurdles happen during development which cause delays that we are not privy to. So many things need to be coordinated that are in addition to developing the game itself. Marketing tools and contracts that we don't even think about need finalizing before it can go live. Think about the graphics and banners that are used to market the game - someone needs to build them, route them for approval, etc, etc. It's a racket and it takes time. This is a big launch for them so they want it done right.

Plus, they know we want it and are willing to wait. What's the worst thing that can happen?.....We talk about it, building more buzz, attracting more people, raising more interest, selling more games....basic viral marketing at its best. They got us right where they want us. Be patient and stop busting their lala's. It will soon be here.

I cannot confirm this, but the chances are, they wont. Illegally, yes, Legally, No. Why is it that Console owners have to pay around £10 for a game which PC owners get for free? i do not see the point.

The PC version is not free, it'll be $15 most likely. I hope they don't raise the price due to the bonuses they add.

I dont think the price CAN go up at the very tops by $5, okay, I mean sure that sounds absurd of course DICE/EA can up the price. But if they up the price they start to bring out of the arena of it being the cheap priced, arcade style, etc game.

Sure it keeps digital download and so on but if the price starts to exceed $20 it starts losing its advantage, depending what does or doesn't happen to it in the extra dev time could mean the whole basis of 4 maps for a cheap price loses ground and puts people off.

Theres no such thing as an "arcade" section on the PC, so its either keep it small and low priced or go large and full.

If EA UK Store is anything to go by anyway it lists it at like £9.xx something which places it CHEAPER than any other version. Saying that the irish/possibly other EU? store lists it as 49.99 or something soooooooooo.......... yeah...

so why does everywhere say june , even playsation network website says june 2009??? so why talk of july? im looking forward to it allot,............please forgive my attitude and impatience but they have done the hard work( gordon and team) so why is psn and xbox takeing their time with it??? ........but i say again forgive my attitude on this just want it now lol!!! !!!! haveing to do with 1942 to get my practice in lol!!!!
