what Gordan means is either: Microsoft refuse to display it on the Marketplace until after (set date) and they don't want to release it earlier on the PSN than on the Marketplace for the 360.

Or yes.. its an EA thing.

In either case if we have to wait until july, I hope they show us more footage atleast. So we have something to watch and drool over while we wait.

I was going to buy the 360 version to play around with it until the PC comes out, but it seems they will be coming out at the same time now.

LOL JK
Thanks for the Honesty there Gordon.
BTW Do you have a 360 Gordon, or just the PS3? If so whats your gamertag?
If not I guess I am buying it on all 3 platforms just to get your tags.

AAAAA DICE SUCKS!!!!! EA IS A GIANT GREEDY COMPANY!!!

I WON'T BUY THIS GAME ANYMORE!!!!

Lol just kidding.

Now I know how the PC players feel, and this is just a few weeks. Damn it Mircrosoft and Sony, just certify it. Why does it take 3-4 weeks to do something that from what I've heard should only take no more than an hour? Don't all they have to do is check achievements, file size, and a few other things?

lol, if anyone in the testing business reads that they'll probably want to stab you because its a lengthy, tedious process .

From a players perspective (minus the hype) never rush QA, it will only result in a better experience at the end of the day, many games severally lack it and it shows..

Thanks, yes, that is exactly how I felt.

"an hour".

If we miss one issue in certification, depending on the installed base that can have huge effects. And there is a large amout of things to test... "file size" he says

Code redemption. Download process. Validation. Installation. Online options (all of them) in different scenarios - join games, invite friends, accept invites, games that score, games that don't score. Unlocking achievements/trophies. Unlocking additional content as you gain EXP. Making sure progress is saved properly.

And that is only the "visible" stuff. The underlying checks can be far more complex.

QA is there for a reason. None of us like to wait for a game, but I'd rather get it a week later, working almost flawless, than on June 25th full of issues (lag, achievements not unlocking, map glitches...)

I'm sure DICE and EA have already made their QA. Why MS and Sony have to do that all again? Game looks very very polished to me when watching gameplay vids. Just release the friggin' game.

Delays will start to have a negative effect eventually. They build hype then resentment. Especially with no offical word from m$

It shouldn't . . . not against DICE or EA, at least. It is completely out of their hands now.

Now if you want to resent MS or PSN for taking too long to certify (which, at this point, they really haven't), by all means, resent away at them. Or if EA and/or DICE decided to delay the release for marketing reasons or something, then I can see resentment being a valid against them, but there really is no reason for anyone to resent DICE at this point other than being whiny and impatient.

No date has been confirmed and whos to say microsoft is at fault? Certification takes time and its done separately by both sony and microsoft.

Needless to say if a game fails its not microsofts or sonys business to comment on it, the only thing they comment on is when its been approved and given a date for launch.
