Besides than adding more videos and screens, what do you expect from the 1943 website, especially after the game is live?

I’d like to see an array of this to be done. Not only to improve the quality of feedback but the site itself. This would consist of a variety of opinions to all players on all platforms.

1) Separate but equal forums, as we all know each platform will have its on variety of flaws and bugs. As it stands not we have a mesh of all platforms and a lot of ideas flowing from all markets. If it were separate this would allow the development team to pin point what problems are for each system. It would also show what ideas and options each system offers and how effective the game play is on each system.

2) I would also like to see a section dedicated to punk buster issues and game tech help which would include things like increase fps, ctd, or vista problems.

3) Ranking myself I could care less, although it seems to be high on many players list. Ranking would be nice but it’s just eye candy.

4) Since rankings is on the list a better stance on stat padding, server padding and overall cheating in general would be nice.

5) Once live a support system that works would be outstanding. It would be nice to come to the site the “OFFICAL” site instead going through the detestable EA support. It would be great to come and post in an adult manner and get an answer.

6) A section about bugs/glitches that should be fixed would be nice. This would educate the public and clans as to what to look for so that it could be properly report and the appropriate actions is taken against said players.

7) A community manger that does answer question by the public, unlike some of the others that never show up till the last minute. I would be great if Gordon and your team could stay active. We all realize that once the first year life cycle of the game is gone you might be gone to bigger and better things. But it would be nice to have a support person HERE when players have questions.

Yeah, it would be cool if we could get like weapon/vehicle specs,

and is there only going to be 3 maps!!? like it says on the website, choose between iwo, canal or wake i hope there's more than that!

BF was always fantastic with a selection of them maybe even though the favorites were played the most it was always good to go onto like a desert map and snipe for a bit or a close quarters german map.

and i hope this game is mac compatible, i mean i can just run it on boot camp but it doesn't always run smoothly.

An awesome improvement to the website would be if it had dedicated forums rather than a forum on the EA website. That is: the forums are built onto battlefield1943.com.

you have to admit

the detailed information that 2142-stats.com provides is far superior then that of the 'official' website

so unless the 1943 and bc2 sites will be able to match the power of 2142-stats id rather not use the 'official' site to check anything other than update news and patch information

It's as simple as allowing people to express their creativity and cleverness with stat pages images etc

Making a login for stats that only you can see, well, may as well punch everyone in the face every time they want to look at stats. Effectively it's no different

Hello,

I've been quiet for a while, working on things in the studio. How about a bit of an update?

Forums: We will continue to use this forum and the US forums for 1943.
Stats: We are working on making stats viewable without login, but we are also working on a way to make logging in worthwhile for you, the fans.

So it is a mini update, but there's a lot that simply can't be said right now.

Hey Supernewby any chance that we will be able to view our stats on the PS3 web browser. Just a whole lot easier than switching the PC on like we currently have to do for BC stats.

Some wallpapers would be nice for PC. Even though its an console game at the moment, doesnt mean we wont want a nice wallpaper for it. Also some animated messenger avatars like RARE have done for Banjo Kazooie would be nice. Wouldnt mind some fan site kind of images featuring art like the soldiers on the main page to make things out of too.

don't use flash for the menu, check out the BFH site because that site is absolutely amazing. But I like the design of the 1943 site very much.

Leaderboards and an easy to use soldier tracker where you just put the gamertag into a search engine and it generates the information

This game is amazing Lol the Plane and the parachute is Sick and the tanks. Best arcade game ever although it takes a bit to join games but that maybe because my nat type is moderate lol
