This year’s breakout 3rd person co-op shooter just got more intense! Players now have the chance to extend their ARMY OF TWO™ experience with two brand new co-op campaign maps and an enhanced multiplayer map that offers more opportunities to show that a two-man team can be unstoppable. The free Veteran Map Pack, sponsored by Pontiac, will be available on May 29 in North America and Europe on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace and PLAYSTATION® Store.

Players will experience an all-new map as they find themselves underground in a subway station in Kiev where they must find and destroy the central hub of a dangerous militia. The second map takes players back to SSC headquarters in Miami where they finally get the chance to take out Dalton, Rios and Salem’s ex-boss and the man responsible for framing them, in an intense boss fight where the glory of revenge is finally felt. The Veteran Map Pack features dynamic and interactive environments including destructible objects that were not available in the retail version. The action also continues online with two-on-two teams battling it out in the China Canal Lock map.

Great news for Army of Two fans, including myself!

Cool. Didn't watch all of it. Don't want to spoil it. But it looks good. Looks like a fully fleshed out pair of levels.

One thing the video doesnt say is if there'll be any new speech between them both. I imagine it wouldn't be easy to record loads of new stuff, but on the other hand, levels where they're completely silent or re-using dialogue wouldn't be as fun.

Hell yeah! This is good news indeed. Almost makes up for the lack of people around on the servers to play the SSC map packs with..

Keep the free content coming, it keeps us dedicated players happy and draws in new (cheapskate) Players - good Marketing strategy! :-)

Or fix the online connectivity so that new and existing players can find games easily and WONT get frustrated and trade it in.... surely thats a better marketing strategy...

Hmm, yes that's true also.. Last week when trying to play AO2 online, my xbox hung at the 'Connecting to EA Servers' screen. I just shrugged and played another game as this has happened before to me with Burnout Paradise..

I'm afraid there is a delay with releasing the Xbox 360 Veteran pack. At the moment we're not sure when it will be released but it should only be a short delay.

The PS3 version is still scheduled to be available today.

Cant wait to try out the new versus map too.
It looks like its set at night time which will be interesting.

its a shame as been waiting for the pack,the developers must have found something wrong with it and its pain waiting for it,but they should have released them after they sort out the online which is poor due to quck match does not work all the time and they should change the custom game lobby to seach for games like if you put ssc challenge,the map name and rounds it should come up with a list of lobby's so you can see if there are any games to play in as the current system does not work and it out dated.
