Default Thank you for the demo EA.

I downloaded the AoT demo from the XBL Marketplace yesterday and what can I say, I loved every moment of it.

So much so I bought the retail version about an hour later, and now {6hrs into campaign} I have absolutely no regrets...........well worth my £40.

I will never trust those "reliable" review sites ever again.

Anyways, thanks EA for releasing the demo and showing me what ive been missing.

See you on the Battlefield

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Speaking of Battlefield, have you tried to get a BETA key for Battlefield Bad Company? Clicky.

Prepare for it to end if you're 6 hours in...

I enjoyed the game too. I'd give it 7-8/10 from my experience so far, and I agree that the reviewers were far too harsh on the game. However, the length of the campaign is an issue. I've had the game for about a week, and i'm on my third run through of the campaign. The 2nd run through was on the hardest difficulty.

It's a solid game though . If you can, play in co-op mode. It's been great fun in split screen. Plenty of opportunities to yell at the person you're playing with for messing up .

Yeah
The review sites are ********. They always have been.
Also.. game reviewers are a bunch of out of shape, poorly paid idiots who are bitter cos they can't make games themselves. They always compare every game to their favourite game and cry when it doesn't match up.

You are MUCH better off checking out user reviews... or like you did.. the demo... and making your own mind up.

ALSO due to the laws of the interwebs... forums are ALWAYS way more full of people complaining about something than they are praising it.

Glad you like it.
Hope you give the multiplayer a good shot too... its really cool when you get into it and figure out what exactly you have to do.

what the hell... game review sites are very reliable. I mean if they really thought it was a good game then they would of given that mark. Gta SA was an amazing game and all sites gave it amazing marks.

But in the end demos are alot more useful, somtimes you will like games which are rated low, it just depends on how ya are

Exactly. The best way to decide whether or not YOU will like a game is by playing it for yourself.

Where are these "laws of the interwebs"? I wouldn't mind reading them.
