Hi guys,

After years of issues with EA games online all seemed good recently. Skate, Burnout and AO2 have been cool....until I tried the Extras menu in AO2 and tried the download weapons link. This is on Xbox 360......now I cannot connect to EA Nation on ANY of my EA games.

Has anyone else ahd this issue.....everything else works just fine

Default I cant get on army of two online...AT ALL!

I hav tried many times to connect to an online game over PSN but i neva get further than the 'finding match' screen. Ive tried the whole DMZ server thing that it says in the manual and still i get nothin.
I can play COD4, Unreal and other games online perfectly. Whats with AO2???
Any help will be much appreciated.

for versus try doing a custom match and setting the map and gametype to any and the time to 10 minutes

that tends to get me a game the quickest... or ideally have someone online you can invite... that means only 2 spaces to fill...

Bought the game a week ago. Played 2 on line co op games. Have not been able to get on since... What a waste of £45. I have left feedbak in another EA forum. No joy. My mate 30 miles away can connect, I can't. Open Nat and a 20mb connection... still cannot get on line.

Yeah im having the same problem.
I have been able to connect previously but since last week its just fallen down.

Everything is FINE with my network too. I just did a NAT test and its wiiide open.

This is just insult to injury. I never actually believed people who went on about how much EA sucked until i had first hand experience with one of their games... never ever again.

from EA:allucanEAtsushi

Ok guys so I've had the team look into the issue and it looks like it may be resolved now, so please have another try at it.

From teh team (May be technical jargon):

The problem was that there was 1 core SG that was working correctly and was pretty much eating connections. Anyone that attempted to connect through that SG couldn’t connect to any title. The messed up SG has been escalated up to the needed groups to be taken care of.

I have just connected succesfully!

Dire , dire service from EA though. Servers down for 7 days? Is this normal?

Yeah works fine for me now.

Disgraceful that it took a week for them to post a message though...and not even on this forum... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

OR!!
Even easier... do what i did and buy yourself a gaming router that pretty much automates the port opening process for xbox live and other services.

I now run three xbox's in the same house all with open NAT after buying the following router:
