Default MySims Racing- Screenshots and Info

Focussing this update on customisation.

Quote:
CUSTOMIZATION – Customization is a key feature of MySims Racing. There are unlimited ways to customize both your racing kart and your MySim. Choosing your custom vehicle – small/compact, mid size and large Each player is given a choice of a base vehicle across 3 different vehicle classes.

The first is the small/compact class in which the karts are zippier. They handle great outside the box and they accelerate nicely too. The downside is they are very light therefore against a bumping opponent they will tend to get pushed around a little more on the tracks.

Next comes the mid size vehicles which are a step up in performance, weight and handling when compared to the compact class. The large class consists of trucks, SUV’s, and a van. The obvious differences will be these are very heavy and tend to bully the other vehicles off the tracks. Their downsides are they tend to accelerate very slow and do not handle as well as the compact karts.

During the progression of the game (Story Mode) the players have the ability to unlock parts (Performance and Styling) to better enhance their vehicles. They can customize the frame to “Beef Up” the mass or weight of their compact kart or pump up the engine and upgrade their suspension on their Bohemoth SUV to try and keep up with the other karts. Because you have a garage and can choose anytime, the player can strategize which kart to use for each individual challenge. For example, for a challenge which involves “collecting” I will choose a kart that handles best (compact) for its precision handling.

Where as in an all out multiplayer blow out with friends, I would probably want to upgrade to an SUV so I can drive fast and bump my opponents into hazards. Garage – In the garage, there are four ways in which you can customize/personalize your kart Performance Upgrades – This is where you upgrade the karts performance attributes.

There are 4 categories: Engine (Affects Top Speed and Acceleration), Frame (Affects Weight and Acceleration), Handling (affects Handling), Special (Special upgrades given to a player when they win Gold Medals in any given challenge. They can affect all of the above) Styling Upgrades – There are 10 categories to choose from. They are: Body Type (Multiple Body Types available per Class), Front Bumper, Front Headlight and Grill Assembly, Front Hood Ornament, Side View Mirrors, Rear Accessory, Rear Tail Lights, Rear Bumper, Wheels, Horn. Paint Shop – There are 24 Colors and 20 Door Decals to choose from. Door decals include: Skull, Star, Lightning Bolt, Paw, Flames, Checkered, #8, Kitten, Bowtie, Butterfly, Heart, Flower, Wings, Octopus, Ninja Star, Snail, Bunny Luv, Radio Active, Hawaiian Flower, Soccer Ball.
