Sims just want to be Sims

Regardless of events that have previously taken place, the members of our community would be satisfied with a private or single server of The Sims Online. (EA-Land)
Former members of The Sims Online have offered to participate in the operation of a single server, many other suggestions have been made in our forums.

Electronic Arts MMO called Ultima Online has multiple private servers, why is this not possible for The Sims Online. Have we been sold out?
