The reason Why the GTX280 is just the perfect card for me is because on Crysis high 1680x1050 i get just short of 60FPS average, which is how i like to play, anything less feels sluggish and dont look as good(when you are moving lol) , If you like to play fast with a lot of movements and explosions, The extra power of the GTX280 is perfect, and feels more stable which is why i favour it to the dual sli card GTX295

Yes, indeed the GTX 285 is a much better graphics card than what I just bought.
However, I have done a lot of researching over the past few months from toms hardware, to duxcw, to annands tech, etc, etc Before making my decision.
I even searched for GTX 285
GTX 285 OC2, Computing items at low prices on eBay.co.uk All of them are £300+. Saw one that was £232.59 as you can see but that needs postal and package an extra £42.84!
The cheapest GTX 280 I could find is £200 however most of these are used. I could see Condition: Used. So I know exactly what I was looking after. Searched play.com, amazon, even pcworld lol. And to be honest that was the best deal I could find a brand new overclocked 4890 card for only £180.
gtx 280, Computing, gtx 260, gtx 295 items at low prices on eBay.co.uk
So I don't think its true that you could buy a graphics card like the GTX 280 OC2 for only £200 I would find it extremely fishy as to why would someone sell it so cheap?!
Previously I have been really stingy with graphics card due to pricing bought my 8600GT for £45 lol.

However this time I decided not to be stingy as it would be a big mistake.
I was even advised to buy the HD 4870 from one of my friend as he uses it, it was even cheaper about £124 from ebay. But I told myself "forget it" I won't be stingy this time and I will buy a slightly more expensive card.
