I did the perfornance review of 295 x 280 because i hade them both and had to decide which to keep, The 295 was a little faster yes but only a little apart from vista DX10 and very high!, BUT what im saying is that although the 295 had higher FPS most of the time, The 280 felt much smoother and clearer, and less noisy, Less money, and the fact that is a single GPU made it the winner for me!,
I just dont like sli, a single card set up is miles better, I will upgrade once the GTX380 comes out!

Hmmm, yeah I don't have the ati card yet. At the moment I use the Nvidia GeForce 8600GT card that sucks lol. But 3 days ago I ordered the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4890 OC Edition!! Should arrive by post in 5-10 days.
I felt like this was the best choice because GTX 280 and 285 cost £300+ so this for me didn't sound very wise to spash the cash. And I feel like I have made a great decision because I will definitely see an enormous difference from the 4890 OC when compared to the crappy Nvidia 8600GT.
Plus I looked here in youtube video that the Sapphire ATI 4890 destroyed the Nvidia cards benchmarks in the game called Fallout 3 game of the year!

Looking at the benchmark comparisons the 4890 beats GTX 260 in all FPS scorlines.
However, note down the price this is a big factor. Although I can afford the GTX 285, etc but I feel as though this is irrational to spash so much cash when you do realise that in 2-4 years I will have to upgrade my GPU again.
