I'm not gonna lie when I say, I hope he can keep playing at a high level for as long as possible - but Chelsea over the past 5 years are a club on the rise, and he's served you guys loyally, and at times I felt he was more of a club man than a country man (not in the music sense ). I fear that Alex and Ivanovic will inevitably take his place in the coming years.
Has any word, other than his last interview in Portuguese, come out of the Chelsea camp on his status at the club?

I'd like him to stay but i think we may see him move on, Alex is more than capable of replacing him for an entire season and i think if Alex does not get much game time next season he will want to leave the club, which is a bad thing considering his age.
I'm 50-50 really, would love for Riccy to stay but if he were to leave i would thank him for his brilliant service and wish him well for the future.
