(maybe not so much in European cities as I know they are more congested for the most part)...I also feel that DICE specifically wanted to make the game feel very very much unlike Assassins Creed because the game is essential a Parkour game if you take the fighting element out of it.

this entire idea assumes that Parkour is easy and that anyone can perform these amazing feats of acrobatic gravity defying moves when in reality the art of Free Running is incredibly difficult....or it assumes that every cop in the City is incredibly over trained. The idea as a whole isn't that bad but for a game of this style it just doesn't fit right.
Maybe it's not that way in America; but I've walked through the streets of the cities in Cambodia and the crowds literally swallow you. In Japan too.

So, I personally am for the idea.

Though, maybe to satisfy those who disagree - they could have less people. But it would be fun to run down the sidewalks scaring innocent civillians XD

I'd also like to see a little bit of insight into the whole Jackknife thing. I mean, that one conversation in the game got me really intrigued...

+ I'd love to have a free roaming option - where you can just run around the city for fun >.<
