I'm no expert, but I suspect your on board graphics chip is your problem.

I couldn't run BF2142's demo on my Intel on board chip (and therefore, the retail game had I purchased it at the time), due to not having hardware T&L support or pixel shader support on my intel chip. I reckon it's the same here, and that you need a newish graphics card.
Other than the GFX card, you've got a decent PC there (much better than mine!)
