It's a great map.
True, the start can be difficult for the USMC, but they usually get through sooner or later, either through PLA incompetence, luck (one boat manages to slip by against the odds and cap a flag) or strategy.
The US commander has to orchestrate the attack so that instead of wandering downstream in ones and twos all the USMC APCs and boatlalalala one spot together, preferable with artillery support to clear the way.
The PLA are obliged to defend across the entire front, as they don't know where the US will attack. The US on the other hand can concentrate all their forces in one point.
When the US follow this simple plan they can break through, China lose a flag, followed shortly after by losing several flags, by which point the marines have such an armour advantage that victory is usually inevitable.
