I am not sure if you are interested in Windows7 based testing, but this is what happens here:

SystemInfo:

• Windows build 7077 (UAC = ON)
• :: DXDiag ::

TestCycle:

1. clean installation of Battlefield 2
2. installed SpecialForces
3. installed 1.41 patch
4. installed EuroForces
5. installed ArmoredFury
6. installed 1.41 patch again as requested by BoosterPacks
7. reboot PC
8. started BF2
9. configured online account - ::my settings::
10. restarted Battlefield 2
11. selected a server in serverbrowser -> join server
12. after the loading was finished i moved the mousecursor to the "join game button"

RESULT:

I ended up at the Server browser again. No error Message, nothing.
I did try all other available Servers, with exactly the same result.

using "Run as administrator" on the BF2 Shortcut seems to stop this issue.
I am able to join the game.
But after a few minutes (about 3), i again end up on the ServerBrowser, beeing not connected to any server.
No error messages, nothing.

I will re-test tomorrow on WinXP and Vista and post an update here.
