Howdy folks, as we now have less than 100 days to go until the release of The Sims 3, it's time for our very own EAUK Sims 3 forum countdown thread.

What is the official release date?
The official release date for UK and Europe is
Friday 5th June 2009. Although many sites have listed down 2nd June, this is the shipping date and not the UK release date, you'll be able to buy it in the Uk shops from Friday 5th June.
The Sims, will launch across the PC, Mac, iPhone, iPod Touch and mobile devices.
The Sims 3 - countdown widget
If you would like a handy countdown widget, you can find one on the
Electronic Arts Sims 3 game information page. clicking the 'hand' icon will provide you many options for embedding in various social networking sites, or perhaps you would prefer to use one of the desktop download versions the widget provides.
