ECC glitch when switching teams after season 1?
I have not had the chance to test myself, so it would be great if someone knew... I am a bit of a realism freak and with FIFA 09 not allowing you to partake in any ECC/EFA during season 1 I always start with a side that has not qualified for anything.
We all know that when the season is over, and you finish in the top 6 (is it?) you get to play euro cups in season 2. But is this only the case if you stick with the same team?
Two scenarios;
- After finishing season 1 I choose to leave the country (say Nice in France for Barcelona in Spain) - will my new team be in the ECC/EFA? There is no way of knowing if they finished high enough, but most likely they should have made it in the top 6 and thus be qualified for euro cups.
- After finishing season 1 I choose to stay in the same league (from Nice to one of the clubs that I have seen qualify for the ECC in the summary of season 1-screens). I choose not to renew my contract with Nice and instead go for Lyon or whichever team qualified - will season 2 allow me to play ECC/EFA with my new team?
Basically, if you switch teams after a season- is it possible that your new team has qualified for ECC for the new season or is this only if you stick with the team you're in and qualify?
This is easy to test, but I have not had the chance and would like to know..
Cheers
