Languages change. You're not speaking the same English your grandparents spoke. You're not speaking the same English Shakespeare used. It's the same with any language. Spanish is different in Mexico, Spain, Argentina, etc. Portuguese differs between Brazil and Portugal. Personally, I'm a descriptive grammarian rather than a prescriptive grammarian.
