Does it have any impact on my hardwired connection to my main pc if i dont turn it off ?? its just that i have been playing lots of games on fifa the past night or two and the connection speed when playing people is like rubbish, jerky picture etc, even though i have virgin cable 20mb broadband.
Maybe its my oppenents connections that suk, its hard to say.

If you never used the wireless then you'd be just as well turning the signal off as it would make no difference, but seeing as you sometimes use a laptop for the wireless you should keep it on, or else every time you want to go online with your laptop you will have to turn on your PC to access the routers console to turn the wireless on again, which would kind of defeat the purpose of having a laptop.
Just make sure that if you keep the wireless signal on that it is encrypted or else anybody can pick it up and use it. There should be some sort of security option in your routers wireless settings for this.
Either way it does'nt have any impact on your hardwired connection so there's no point in going on your PC and turning the wireless off while you play, then once you've finished playing turning it back on again. There are other reasons why the picture may be jerky.
