I had a mate also check, he has exactly the same router as me and he too gets a ping back/fail from the shields up test, could it be they are pinging the router and not the actual system its self ?? thats all i can think of as apart from the ping test fail everything else is stealthed.

Probably, although I'm not an expert in networking so I'm not really sure.
But yes, I tried that security test from the link you posted on my home computer (I have a linksys router), and at my university we have separate networks for each library/place, so I tried it at 2-3 places (can't remember) whenever I check the forums using school computers, and they fail too; I get the same "Ping Reply: RECEIVED (FAILED) — Your system REPLIED to our Ping (ICMP Echo)..etc etc" message.
