^^ Thanks and your right. Sorry for long post coming...
I could name everyone in the top 50 who have "glitched" (yes thats right abusing bugs in the game is not cheating).
The reality is people only started using it well into the competition in which they had already gained a huge points advantage fairly.
The players at the top are quality players who would be there in any case and I think if for example many in the top 50 were removed then the quality of the tournament final would suffer greatly (opinion).
I have read people accusing Ruben (zerecero) of using this glitch and want him banned. I havent spoken to him so I couldnt say yes or no but we are talking about a guy who has been to at least 3 FIWC finals that I am aware of and has done quite well in them against top players. This just being an example that no if the glitch was excused then only lalalala players who glitched would make it.
Also Dries (the-return) has even won the whole thing in 07. These guys sit about 3 and 4 at the moment I think.
These guys for example also havent glitched - Dannys main account, Adamw, Mikkeall, Jad (contrary to belief does exist in Northern Ireland), beanz, sensation, sicilian etc.
I honestly think that EA have no choice but to allow the games played under the glitch. Reasons..
1. there is nowhere in the rules that say you cant
2. its not the gamers fault
3. the custom team glitch can be done by anyone and its not a hack
4. there has been no communication to players when EA became aware of the issue to say "we're attempting to fix it, it isn't allowed and to refrain from using it or you may be removed".
I completely understand where guys are coming from who feel hard done by this but you need to understand that glitches can and will be used by anyone and its only by peoples opinion that it is classed as cheating.
If the Italians didnt dive (a real world glitch) they may not have made the World Cup final at all (sorry to offend but this is a sore point to many Australians).
