Really....I'd vote for that. Not easy to release a game every year, its hard enough meeting deadlines and putting in loads of new features every season, I'm just happy online is so good, nothing is perfect, and I can accept that. You get cheated a bit maybe, but are any of you going to come 6th? (or whatever other place just outside of your regions qualifying number) Only a hand full could POSSIBLY miss out on the opportunity to play in FIWC live through glitches, but everyone gets them there is no excuse.
If you hate to pay to enter FIWC, I would COMPLETELY back you up, but its FREE, you have NOTHING TO LOSE to stop whining.

LOL. Ea are trying their best? There are 10 times more bugs in Fifa 09 then there were in Fifa 08 how is that trying their best?
I played a game a few days back, Scored a legit chip over the keeper, After i scored a cut scene followed my player was shown holding his head in his hands and it said OWN GOAL Kevin Doyle (Reading) and the goal was given to my opponent instead of me. This is again one of the many bugs in the game. I lost 60 skill points because of this. How are EA trying to do their best i dont understand.
I understand making games are difficult, But EA are a big company, Infact a HUGE company probably one of the biggest. You dont expect errors of this magnitude that people can enter editted teams in a FIFA WORLD CUP tournament? I mean common for god sake the people who will qualify will get a free trip to Barcelona for godsakes they will be on TV etc etc plus a chance to win 20,000 for the winner plus a car, 5000 for the runner up and 1000 for the 3rd place. Surely a tournament of THIS MUCH magnitude needs to be monitoried PROPERLY and be conducted PROPERLY and if they cant do that then dont have the competetion at all? I mean its a world cup tournament for Virtual players. If you cant run the competetion fairly, Dont have it !!!!
If the cheaters ARE going to be caught and banned in the end we want an OFFICIAL word from EA that they WILL be banned so that atleast people will start using legit teams not fake teams if they know that they will be banned. Thats all i need, If they are going to be banned just say it. How hard is to release an official statement that they know of the problem and they are working on it and they will ban people who will use the cheat ? How hard is it? They're not saying anything probably because they dont know how to ban them how will they verify people who are cheating i dont think EA have any records of even the players who score a goal in the matches yet alone have the whole lineup of every match. EA are not saying anything because they CANNOT distinguish between who is cheating and who is not. Simple. The only thing they can do is release a patch and fix this, and oh if i remember the last patch that came EA claimed to have had this fixed in it and yet it was NOT. A complete Blatant LIE to the customers who pay 40 Pounds for this game. IS THAT FAIR ?

Edit: Im sorry if my post offends you its just the way i feel about EA and Fifa 09. I felt Fifa 08 although it was inferior interms of graphics and gameplay i still preferred it as it didnt have half as many bugs as Fifa 09 has. Too bad i sold Fifa 08 when i bought 09.
