Yep I can honestly say the evolution for me was making the extra effort to go for the headshot.
Its the ultimate leveller when it comes to kit vs kit.
The difference is night and day and suggest to improve all you need to do is make that extra effort to aim for the head.
Iron sighting in close quarters will kill you when he moves side to side.
Its too slow to keep up unless you anticipate it.
If hes in a hallway or his side to side movement is limited then iron sights just speed up his journey to the respawnville.
Its also because of the m60.
Slow fire rate but the power makes up for it if those shots are hitting him in the head.
Also shooting before you turn the corner is a big advantage. Get the gat humming before you round the corner and it overwhelms most of the time.
