1st. in that video, Overmars in on the inside of the ball and it's moving in his direction, Ronaldo on the outside trying to take the ball, not beat him to it.
2nd. Many players need a speed increase in future Fifa's. The trick is not making speed count so much to the players overall. Speed is a gift, not a talent.
