And english football hasn't had no problem with bungs. No horribly dodgy referee calls, no major hooligan problem.
Get with times mate, every league is bent in some way or another.
And in case you didn't watch Calciopoli properly it was a farce with no fullproof evidence and the court cases are still going on because they can't show that any team ever fixed a game or bribed a ref. All they can prove is that we bent the rules slightly because Moggi made contact with GEA and chose the ref he wanted for some games (but had no contact with the ref) and for breaking that rule we served our punishment.
Italian football for me is still more beautiful to watch than any other. We have plenty of teams that can challenge for top 4 spots with any of the top 4 with the poss dropping out (milan last year, roma this year) and all our clubs are owned by people who are fans of the club and pretty much all are home italians, which I much prefer over foreign owner who use the club to make money and couldn't care much about them until they bought it and treated it as a franchise rather than a love.
Get over the stereotypes. Italy are still world champions because we can play plenty of homegrown players, I bet you wish you could say the same about England. (no disrespect intended)
