People should not be penalised for that which they cannot control. I don't like when my opponent quits early either, but I understand that it isn't always someone pulling their cable to prevent a loss. They don't willingly cut the game short. It happens and there's nothing they can do about it.

And FIFA is nothing like real life. You can't lose connection to a real life match. Christ, are you really that dumb? The only way to end a match early in real life is to voluntarily forfeit. Losing connection is involuntary.
and?? My connection IS broadband, but costs £5....need to know how to find a good deal. If they can't afford it, not my problem...

If they can't control their connection, then why don't they play normal ranked/ unranked games??? You are right, this isn't real life, and EA isn't the Labour Party, we don't have to pay the price for the poor people, or those with any other problems. There internet is THEIR problem, me not being able to have fun and play 90 minutes because they leave (whatever the problem) is THEIR problem.

They will lose the points, and the people who deserve the points (those who can complete the game) get the points. Playing FIFA is voluntary. Your fun being ruined by "connection losers" (funny pun eh...) is involuntary.
