Some people are forced to use narrowband as they cannot afford better internet service. It might only be five pounds in the UK, but the cheapest broadband services still cost at least four or five times as much as that. And even then, the connection isn't reliable.

People should not be penalised for that which they cannot control. I don't like when my opponent quits early either, but I understand that it isn't always someone pulling their cable to prevent a loss. They don't willingly cut the game short. It happens and there's nothing they can do about it.

And FIFA is nothing like real life. You can't lose connection to a real life match. Christ, are you really that dumb? The only way to end a match early in real life is to voluntarily forfeit. Losing connection is involuntary.
