Chester City 0 - 5 Arsenal
Carlos Vela 14', 29'
Aaron Ramsey 36', 50'
Theo Walcott 44'
Kevin Roberts [RED CARD] 81'

The Arsenal young guns were absolutely fantastic as they came out clear winners with the scoreline of 5-0. Arsene Wenger even said that if they played like that, then they would be legends. Arsenal got off to a flying start as Carlos Vela's pure pace took him past the Chester defence and they the Mexican cooly slotted under Danby to get the 'Youth Team' off the mark. With Arsenal's pure passing quality, they worked it around the Chester players and created gaps which Jack Wilshire, Nicklas Bendtner and Theo Walcott almost exploited. Vela then got his second as Aaron Ramsey's superb through ball found Vela, who's curling shot hit the inside of the post before going in. Minutes later and we saw the goal of the game, 16 passes followed by a cracking finish. The build up all started when Aaron Ramsey tackled Anthony Barry before passing to Jack Wilshire, The play built up as Vela recieved the ball, the opened up to shoot, before dummying a shot and continuing running, he then thread through Ramsey, who slotted into the bottom corner. Arsenal were playing with such creative style, they might just take the places of the first team. Walcott rounded off the half with a superb finish, A cross from Wilshire was headed away to Fran Merida who took it round Barry before passing to Walcott who drove the ball into the bottom corner.

The second half started with another good goal, Fran Merida's challenge was thought to be a free-kick, but the referee didn't blow his whistle and Aaron Ramsey continued with the ball, he drove the ball from 20 yards and it flew into the corner as Danby just stood and watched. Arsene Wenger then signalled to Ramsey to play more defencive as a team. So Arsenal sat back, but that didn't stop them from shooting, or Chester from being dirty as Paul Linwood, Kevin Roberts, Marvin Hughes and Anthony Barry were all booked. Kevin Roberts was then sent off in the 81st minute after his challenge on Jack Wilshire after the 17 year old's superb piece of skill. Arsenal avioded two late goals as Chester looked to salvage some pride, Anthony Barry's shot was blocked by Johan Djourou, and the ball ended up in the back of the net, but the referee said no-goal because the ball had gone through a hole in the net and then into the goal. Ritchie Partridge's shot from 7 yards then rattled the bar in the last minute as Arsenal were struggling, but they came out 5-0 winners.
