Transfer News Surrounding Stoke
Dušan Švento

Benoît Trémoulinas

Confirmed today through Setanta Sports News is that Stoke City have informed both Slavia Praha and Bordeaux regarding a possible transfer for their players' Dušan Švento from Slavia & Benoît Trémoulinas from Bordeaux. It is believed that Tony Pulis desperately wants to sign one of these young players and has already tried discussing a possible price for both clubs to decide on. Pulis sees both players will be ideal for the currently weak left-midfield position. This is what Pulis had to say, "Both Svento and Tremoulinas are simalar in ability and have both been put on the shortlist as I think they will fill the position I am going to put them really well."
It is believed that Stoke may have to bid £400,000 for Svento and/or £350,000 for Tremoulinas.
As of now both Slavia and Bordeaux are yet to reply to Stoke but most likely the clubs will in a couple of days.
In other transfer news surrounding Stoke, player's Andy Wilkinson, Ryan Shotton, Ritchie De Laet, Nathaniel Wedderburn, Tom Thorley and Demar Phillips have all been put up for sale on the transfer list as they have been determined as surplus to requirements at the Britannia Stadium.
