Yeah, I agree about half-empty stadiums. I also think crowd support/noise should vary over a season depending on how well your doing or if it's a big match. Imagine the difference in atmosphere - a) you're a top team who has not lived up to expectations and are losing at home, in the cold rain, to a bottom-of-the-league team. The stadium would be half empty, and many fans would be frustrated and jeering. Contrast the atmosphere with b) you're about to win the league at home, beating your arch-rivals, and you're infront of a packed stadium of celebrating fans. THE CROWD NOISE/STADIUM FULLNESS ARE CURRENTLY EXACTLY THE SAME IN CURRENT FIFA GAMES AND THIS DOES NOT HELP BUILD A GOOD ATMOSPHERE OR INVOLVE THE PLAYER. Sure, your fans change if you're losing or winning 3-0, but those are the only times.
