Bad things about cell stage
WAYY too short

Bad things about creature stage
I got a bit bored with it eventually, and rushed as fast as i could to get to tribal
Bad things about tribal stage
Resource gathering was shallow
It was a bit abrupt, the way it advanced from a pack of creatures to a society
Having pet wild creatures didnt seem to do anything
If something like the tribal stage was sold seperatly as a RTS, it would get some of the worst reviews in history
Bad things about civ stage
Hardly anything reminiscent of diplomacy
No point in getting allies, it's a waste of money
The cap on buildings/vehicles was way to low
The way you place buildings
No "research" element (IE, getting upgrades)
Bad things about space stage
Pirates/disasters/attacks makes it impossible to simply sit back and explore
Empires are too bunched up
Only allowed small fleets, and you're not allowed fleets made up of your own ships
Getting allies doesnt really get you anything, apart from buying systems (which takes forever for the trade bar to fill) and occasionally needing to employ a fleet
There are BIG empires apart from the Grox (the grox empire and my empire are the only two empires to occupy more than 10 parsecs of space)
Space wars are too short.
When you're at war, you're only shaken by the loss of a planet when you're a tiny empire.
It gets rather boring rather quickly
And the biggest problem; the ending. I thought spore was gonna be a serious game, not with a crappy cutscene which may aswell be on cartoon network.
BUT, despite all this, i still play this game. I just keep on coming back and coming back, because allthough there might be a host of bad things, they're outweighed by the good things.
