Not sure how they are paying for the Emirates either... im guessing something like 10-20m each year? just a guess
Arsenal has the money. The money we pay for youngsters doesn't even add up to more than £4M and the most we have ever had to fork over was for Walcott and even his transfer ended up being cheap than originally planned because Southamption took less money to have it sooner.

Taken from the 2007 Annual Report
Quote:
Significant funds were available to themanager during the summer transfer window,as evidenced by the cash balance at the end ofMay of some £73.9 million, but in fact we wereable to secure all of his main targets for a totaloutlay well below the maximum budgetavailable. Everyone at the Club is very excitedby the enormous potential which exists in thecurrent playing squad and we are confidentthat Arsène Wenger is building a team of whichwe will be very proud.
The Emirates stadium project is going to cost Arsenal PLC £430M and of that only £260M is actual financed debt. The way it breaks down is £210M is over 23 years so that means £9.13M per year and the other £50M over 25 years or £2M per year. All in all thats £11.13M per year in paid debt and that sum is less than the amount we paid to acquire Walcott, Nasri, Eduardo, Rosicky, or Hleb.

So as you can see we are fine financially and Arsene has had the money available to him to get players but chooses not to spend it. At the close of the year there was a surpluse of £74M availble and Arsene did not touch 25% of that amount for new players.
