i have a PS3 and i think the crabwalk is when the opposition lofts or plays a through ball to the front man and your defender is chasing it as well. When this happens sometimes the defender will appear to strafe (walk sideways) really slowly and this lets the striker receive the through ball without any pressure as you're still "crabwalking" and failling behind.
